My Evergreen Replatform & Theme Build
Evergreen designs flags, doormats, and home and garden décor that help people show off their personality. I built the Shopify theme that moved its direct-to-consumer store, myevergreen.com, from SAP Hybris to Shopify Plus, giving a playful, design-led, constantly seasonal catalog a storefront that keeps pace with it.

The Brand
Evergreen started in 1993, when founder Ting Xu and her family sold hand-sewn garden flags at the Virginia State Fair. It now employs hundreds of people across offices in Richmond, Virginia and Ningbo, China, and its in-house designers produce one of the largest selections of home and garden décor anywhere: hundreds of flag designs, Sassafras Switch Mats with swappable inserts, doormats, drinkware, and gifts, plus Giddy the Porch Goose and his ever-changing wardrobe.

A Catalog That Follows the Calendar
Almost everything Evergreen sells is tied to a season or a holiday, so the storefront is organized around a calendar as much as a category tree. The theme supports collections for each holiday and season, promotional banners that change with the sales calendar, bundle offers such as buy-three-and-save on garden flags, and flexible product pages for items that come in house and garden sizes. The store now runs that calendar on Shopify Plus, after the move off SAP Hybris.

What It Runs On
Like its sister stores, myevergreen.com runs a dedicated search and merchandising platform alongside ratings and reviews. The Porch Perks loyalty program, bundle discounts, and performance, marketing, and analytics tooling round out the storefront. A shared brand bar at the top of the page links across Evergreen's family of sites.
